Family Practice Administrative Assistant Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented administrative assistant to join our team at Shelbydale Medical Clinic PC. As a Family Practice Administrative Assistant, you will provide critical support to our healthcare professionals and patients by handling various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage patient scheduling and appointment bookings
  2. Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence with patients and healthcare providers
  3. Process insurance claims, authorizations, and referrals
  4. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality


Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in a related field (e.g., medical administration, business administration)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks


Salary and Benefits: $45,000 - $50,000 per year (based on 30-35 hours/week) + benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
