Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Director to join our team at Denison University. As a key member of our data-driven organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our data governance strategy and ensuring the integrity of our data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a robust data governance strategy that aligns with the university's strategic objectives.
  • Convene and lead the Data Strategy Committee to oversee the development and implementation of data governance policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Develop and implement best practices and standards in data processing, design, definitions, architecture, and operations.
  • Cultivate productive relationships with campus leaders to leverage data in supporting strategic initiatives and student success.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
