Chemistry Professor

Tacoma Community College is seeking a highly qualified Chemistry Professor to join our faculty team. As a Chemistry Professor, you will be responsible for teaching introductory chemistry courses, including organic and inorganic chemistry, to students with varying levels of prior knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver engaging and effective lectures, labs, and discussions to promote student learning and understanding of chemistry concepts.
- Design and implement assessments to evaluate student learning and progress.
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students to ensure their success in the course.
- Stay current with developments in chemistry education and incorporate best practices into your teaching.
- Masters degree in Chemistry or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience teaching chemistry courses at a community college or similar institution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
