Job Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Warehouse Verification Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying incoming freight, preparing labels for shipment, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify incoming freight and prepare labels for shipment
  • Visually verify identity and quantity of merchandise against Bill of Lading, Packing List paperwork, and company-assigned paperwork
  • Record evidence of tampering, shortages, excesses, damages, or other unusual conditions of merchandise
  • Label merchandise in a concentrated fast-paced environment
  • Contribute to exceptional service by taking action to communicate and resolve problems
  • Maintain attention to detail and complete assigned work in a timely manner
  • Provide outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner
  • Follow company or site-specific safety policies and procedures and encourage other associates to do the same
  • Safely operate forklifts or other machinery to assist Warehouse operations needs, such as loading, unloading, and staging
  • Work cooperatively and productively with other Warehouse associates
Requirements
  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' forklift experience
  • Computer experience
  • Forklift certified
  • Able to record and track information using systems
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a position that requires analytical (mathematical) thinking
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years' clamp experience with ability to operate skillfully and safely in a warehouse environment
  • Experience with warehouse systems
