Job Summary:

Metis Practice Solutions is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Care Coordinator, you will act as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies, ensuring a seamless patient experience and efficient healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, procedures, and follow-ups.
  • Manage patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Facilitate communication between patients, medical staff, and external agencies.
  • Guide patients in understanding healthcare plans and treatment options.
  • Handle insurance authorizations, claims, and patient eligibility verification.
  • Educate patients about preventive care and wellness.
  • Monitor and track patient outcomes and follow-up requirements.
  • Resolve patient concerns related to care coordination.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical Assistant Certificate or CPR Certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in healthcare software and electronic medical records.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.
