Job Title: Manager of ECHO

At the Aurora Housing Authority, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the role of Manager of ECHO. This position will provide leadership and supervision to ECHO staff members, ensuring the successful implementation of programs and services that empower residents to achieve safe and service-enriched communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Family Services to develop and implement strategies that align with the mission, values, and goals of the Aurora Housing Authority and the Department of Family Services.
  • Supervise and support ECHO staff members in their roles as Education, Health, and Wellness Coordinators and Community Engagement Coordinators, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to excel in their positions.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations and agencies to provide residents with access to educational, health, and wellness programs and services.
  • Coordinate and promote workshops, events, and activities that foster a sense of community and promote resident engagement and participation.
  • Provide administrative support, including preparing reports, managing budgets, and coordinating logistics for ECHO programs and events.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in a related field, such as Social Work, Public Health, Education, or Nutrition, or a bachelor's degree with significant experience in outreach, health promotion, and education.
  • Experience in community organizing, facilitation, and program development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
