Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fluid Power Technician to join our team at Nanoia Recycling Equipment in the NY Metro area. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and support to our customers throughout the NYC Metro area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge recycling equipment and technology. You will have the chance to troubleshoot and repair complex technical issues, ensuring that our customers' operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service during field visits or dispatches
  • Tie workflow to schedule to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
  • Produce detailed and timely service reports
  • Document processes and procedures
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe manner and utilize field automation systems
  • Follow all company protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with the technical team and share information across the organization
  • Understand customer requirements and provide recommendations/briefings
  • BUILD POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH CUSTOMERS

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven Field Service experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment
  • English literacy
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules
  • Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
  • Technical degree or certification
  • Pass a DOT Physical
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: Estimated $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience

Benefits include health insurance, 401K, vacations, and a company van above industry wages. Requirements include the ability to communicate effectively, computer literacy, and a valid driver's license.
