Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at Nanoia Recycling Equipment. As a key member of our installation and maintenance team, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of compactors and balers in New York.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the installation and repair of balers and compactors
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
  • Deliver and install machinery at customers' locations
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks
  • Track all equipment and supplies
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in repair and maintenance of heavy equipment, specifically balers and compactors
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
  • A valid CDL Class B commercial driver's license
  • Ability to cut and fabricate sheet metal
  • Welding experience is required
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job
  • Excellent teamwork and time management skills
