We are seeking a highly skilled Business Risk Management Officer to join our team at State Street Corporation. As a key member of our Global Delivery and Investment Services organizations, you will play a critical role in supporting the Risk Controls Self-Assessment (RCSA) discipline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the execution of the key requirements of the RCSA across Global Delivery and Investment Services
  • Facilitate RCSA Workshops and coordinate with other Business Risk disciplines to ensure RCSA is managed in line with other disciplines
  • Establish positive relationships with key functional teams and leaders within first line of defense business lines, including Operational Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit
  • Instill confidence by demonstrating credibility and expertise
  • Participate in meetings and discussions regarding RCSA and first line Business Risk
  • Ensure quality data for periodic status reviews
  • Coordinate with inter-connected risk initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with other Business Risk Management, Compliance, ERM, Audit, Legal and/or business colleagues; collaborate to achieve organizational goals
  • Continuously develop deep knowledge of core products, process, financial markets, technology, regulatory obligations and operating model changes; understand impact to your role and responsibilities
  • Take initiative to lead targeted projects to assess risk and control deficiencies as needed
Requirements
  • Experience with Global Delivery/Investment Services business operations
  • Experience with the STT risk management framework
  • Knowledge of the RCSA requirements
  • Critical thinker with the ability to solve for complex problems
  • Experience with Archer application
  • Strong attention to detail and ensure plans are deliverable and sustainable
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Organization in a fast-paced working environment
  • Strong time management skills; Deadline and detail oriented
  • Advanced MS Excel, Word and Power Point skills
