Job SummaryThe Staff Registered Nurse at Northside Hospital is responsible for planning and delivering professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines. This role requires a strong foundation in clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Implement and evaluate nursing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing
- Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Other REQUIRED cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (ACLS, NRP, PALS, etc.) are unit specific
- BSN degree
- National Certification in Clinical Specialty
