Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Operative Purchaser to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing operational purchasing for specified material groups, including purchased parts, drawing parts, and services.
  • Conducting purchasing negotiations for individual parts, special parts, and project-specific parts in an international environment.
  • Supporting the strategic purchasing process in tenders, analyses, and reporting.
  • Participating in cross-functional working groups and project teams.
  • Maintaining master data, purchasing info records, and supplier data.
  • Tracking and processing warranty cases.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A completed commercial training with further training as an industrial specialist or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in purchasing in a manufacturing company, ideally in special machine construction.
  • A high degree of negotiation skills, assertiveness, and cost awareness.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications and experience with common ERP systems.
  • Very good German and good English skills (spoken and written).
  • A strong focus on goals with very good communication and coordination skills.
