We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers/Direct Support Professionals. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).

About the Role

As a Caregiver/DSP, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with I/DD in their daily lives. This may include helping with personal care, household tasks, and community activities. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individualized support plans that promote the health, safety, and well-being of our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Promote client outcomes in behavioral, social, and vocational realms
  • Assist client participation in leisure/recreational activities
  • Maintain a schedule of services/activities in a treatment plan and report on status of health and safety objectives
  • Provide respite and companionship to offer relief to family or primary caregiver
  • Complete and submit documentation and payroll data according to scheduled deadlines
  • Complete initial and ongoing training and staff development activities
  • Ability to achieve competency in required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Ability to work independently in the community and/or the client's home
  • Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary, based on individual client needs
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
  • Lifting may be required depending on individual client needs
  • CPR/First Aid Certification Training is provided by company
