Automatic Entrance Systems Technician

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Service and maintain automatic doors, turnstiles, revolving doors, and other security access products
· Identify and propose solutions to enhance customer satisfaction with products and services
· Conduct on-site consultations with clients to assess work before and after service delivery
· Collaborate with administrative staff to procure and monitor parts, materials, and service time
· Accurately complete service requests, work orders, and dispatches in a timely manner
· Maintain organized job-related documentation
· Submit necessary paperwork to administrative personnel promptly, often using a company-issued device
· Manage inventory of parts and materials within your assigned vehicle
· Uphold a professional demeanor in a safe work environment, ensuring a tidy job site
QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum of 1 year experience in servicing or installing automatic door systems
· Proficient in the use of power and hand tools, both professionally and personally
· Mechanically inclined with a strong desire for continuous learning
· Open to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies
· Availability for overtime and potential weekend work as required
· Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation with fellow technicians
· Physical capability to stand, bend, and climb for extended periods in non-climate-controlled settings; able to lift over 75 pounds; comfortable working at heights
· Basic computer literacy, including proficiency with phone applications and general communication via various platforms
· High school diploma or GED equivalent
· Valid US driver's license with a clean driving record
· Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· 2+ years of experience in related fields such as construction, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, military, or mechanical work
· 1+ years of experience in customer service or client interaction
· Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
· 1+ years of professional experience using power and hand tools
· Excellent problem-solving abilities
· Highly organized with a keen attention to detail
· Familiarity with workflows in construction or similar environments
