Role Summary:
Compensation: Starting at $20 per hour, with potential for higher pay based on experience, plus overtime. Benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage under a W-2 Contract to Hire.
Work Schedule:
Weekday Shifts:
Day: Monday - Thursday (7am - 5:30pm)
Afternoon: Monday - Thursday (2:30pm - 11pm) - Additional $2 shift differential.
Weekend Shifts:
Day: Friday - Sunday (5am - 5:30pm) - Additional $2.50 shift differential.
Night: Friday - Sunday (5:30pm - 5am) - Additional $3.50 shift differential.
The Production Technician will execute technical responsibilities across various domains, including electronic, mechanical, or systems work.
- The technician will conduct tests, measurements, operations, and process controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute technical tasks on project teams.
- Install industrial piping systems including chilled water, hot water, steam, and condensate.
- Interpret engineering drawings and documentation.
- Fabricate pipe supports and assemble copper lines.
- Work autonomously and propose solutions through proper channels.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and complete necessary documentation.
- Repair and test various plumbing systems.
- Provide mentorship to plumbing assistants.
- Follow all safety protocols.
- Utilize testing methods for critical projects.
- Manage job packets, work orders, and quality documentation.
- Maintain tools and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and rectify product or process issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in pipe or structural fabrication, or maintenance technician roles.
- Experience with SAP systems.
- Electrical certification or degree is advantageous.
Note: Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check, driving record check, and drug screening.
