Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RN to join our Surgical Center team at Hunterdon Health. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards of professional nursing care.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Use surgical skills as a first-line direct patient care treatment team member.
  • Assume the surgical treatment team leader role when assigned, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Utilize an understanding of growth and development principles to assess each surgical patient's age-specific treatment and care needs.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room RN experience, with prior Ambulatory Surgical experience strongly preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited NLN program, with ACLS and AORN Certification preferred.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Leadership and strong surgical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use special surgical equipment.
