Job Summary

The Registered Radiology Technologist RT(R)/Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) serves as a vital member of the Cardiovascular Catheterization Team at Hunterdon Health.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the Catheterization Laboratory and equipment for procedures, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
• Function as a skilled scrub assistant during diagnostic, interventional, and other procedures performed in the Cath Lab.
• Monitor hemodynamic parameters and control room operations during procedures, providing accurate recordkeeping.
• Deliver high-quality radiographic imaging, adhering to quality assurance and radiation safety standards.
• Review documentation, explain procedures, and provide exceptional patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of images, reports, equipment maintenance, and inventory control.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Graduate of Radiology Technology program, Registered Radiology Technologist through AART

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience

Required Licenses and Certifications

• Registered Radiology Technologist RT(R) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent
• ACLS
• BLS
