Industrial Mechanical Technician

The Industrial Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of system-controlled robotics, machine tools, and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, robotics, and automation.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and evaluate the condition of equipment and determine the strategy to repair and rebuild.
- Own preventative maintenance and extensive repairs; diagnose problems, plan, and complete work required, identify and order parts.
- Maintain and modify machine tools, conveyors, process equipment, facilities, including spindles, pumps, motors, guarding, drives, bearings, lead screws, including lubrication fluids and coolant.
- Apply knowledge of components, devices, and equipment used in industrial equipment applications and the related mechanics, including various machine tools, measurement devices, lathes.
- Associate's Degree in Mechanical Discipline OR High School Diploma/GED with a Military Machinist Training Course.
- Ability and willingness to work off shifts and weekends.
- Ability and willingness to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM) or 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
- Minimum 3 years work experience in Manufacturing Facility in a technical maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic fundamental and safety knowledge (schematics, precision measurement tools, LOTO).
The base pay range for this position is $31.33 to $35.96 per hour with a $5.28 per hour transition adder. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for contractually negotiated general wage increases and COLA increases. This position is also eligible for a Night Shift Bonus of $1.00/hour.
