Job Summary

Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher to join our team. As a valued member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic school district, providing exceptional educational support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Provide instruction and support in academic and life skills areas, including communication, literacy, and social skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and other staff members to ensure comprehensive support for students
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure seamless transitions and progress

Requirements

  • 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
  • Valid Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher credential/license or in process in state of practice
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be asked for proof upon hire
