Position Overview

We are in search of a Fleet Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily functions of our driver team. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to excel as effective leaders within our esteemed fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) with load planners.
  • Leverage McLeod, our operational software, to allocate tasks to drivers nationwide.
  • Guide the daily operations of drivers to specific regions or dedicated routes, in alignment with company policies and objectives.
  • Provide drivers with insights on adhering to relevant local, state, and federal regulations governing the trucking industry.
  • Ensure drivers maintain safety, productivity, and timely deliveries to our clients.
  • Support drivers by addressing over-the-road challenges and providing counsel.
  • Assist drivers in keeping essential documentation current, including license renewals, random drug tests, and physical examinations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline, or 1-3 years of experience in dispatch or fleet management.
  • Proficient in truck dispatch software.
  • Experience with flatbed operations is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal abilities.
