X-Ray Technologist

We are seeking an X-Ray Technologist to join our team at CityMD. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographs following CityMD X-ray protocols and Department of Health regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Produce high-quality radiographs using established protocols and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Document X-ray studies and facilitate communication between providers and radiologists to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and notify site management and X-Ray Manager when maintenance is required.
- Assist with patient flow and maintain effective communication with clinical staff members to ensure a smooth patient experience.
- Perform vital signs and document results in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including waiting rooms, exam rooms, labs, common work areas, X-ray suite, and break room.
- Graduation from an accredited X-ray Technologist program.
- Preferably 4-6 months of previous experience in the field, although recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with basic X-rays of the chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle.
- Ability to position patients for X-ray, adjust restriction devices, and equipment to set exposure factors.
- Knowledge of beam-restrictive devices and patient-shielding techniques to minimize radiation exposure.
- Flexibility with a full-time work schedule, including weekends.
- Functional and practical knowledge of various computer systems.
- Bilingual language skills may be required based on-site location.
The estimated salary range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
