We are seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist to join our team as a X-Ray Tech Specialist in Lexington, KY. This 14-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and cases.
About the RoleThis position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in Operating Room (OR) settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with complex cases, including Femur and Tibia Nails, Pelvis, and advanced Spine imaging.
As a X-Ray Tech Specialist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment, positioning patients for imaging procedures, and ensuring high-quality images are captured. Your expertise in radiology and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment make you an excellent fit for this role.
Requirements- Compact or Kentucky State License (must be obtained before start)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in radiology, preferably in OR settings
- Strong background in working with complex cases, including Femur and Tibia Nails, Pelvis, and advanced Spine imaging
- Experience with diverse age ranges, especially in Level 1 trauma cases
This assignment involves working night shifts, with a guarantee of 3 x 12-hour shifts per week. You will also be required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed. A call schedule is in place, requiring you to be on call for 2-3 shifts per schedule period.
CompensationThe estimated annual salary for this position is $64,000 - $76,000, depending on experience and location. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.
