Tact Staff is seeking a skilled X-ray technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Brooklyn, New York.
About the JobThis role involves working as an allied health professional, utilizing your expertise in radiology to provide high-quality patient care. Your duties will include operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining accurate records.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Operate X-ray equipment to capture high-quality images of patients' internal structures
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH
- 1 year of experience as a General Radiographer
- BLS certification (Preferred)
The estimated hourly pay range for this position is $24.02 - $35.24. The pay package includes a tax-free stipend amount, which will be determined upon confirmation. You can expect to work 40 hours per week, with shifts typically lasting 8 hours.
