Job Title: Senior Project Controls Cost Engineer

This position is located at the Construction Site and works a 4 x 10 schedule, M-Th, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The selected applicant needs to be able and willing to work weekends as needed, as well as night shifts (5:30 pm to 4:00 am) and weekends as needed.



Responsibilities:

* Obtains required schedule information by all disciplines/functions.
* Identifies restraints and effects on the total project schedule.
* Coordinates with all departments to ensure understanding of total project schedule needs.
* Responsible for the total integration of scheduled activities.
* Identifies schedule considerations and problems resulting from inter-discipline or functional restraints and interfaces.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Bachelor's from an accredited university and 9+ years of professional experience, or in lieu of a degree, high school diploma, or equivalent and 15+ years of professional experience.
* Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing cost engineering functions, which include cost estimating, cost control, and cost analysis, in the field and the home office.
* Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal teamwork and communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
* Advanced level of proficiency in using PC operating systems and software applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Basic knowledge of Primavera P6 and or COBRA software applications.
* Strong data/statistical analysis skills.
* Advanced knowledge using Power BI.

Preferred requirements:

* Flexibility to respond to urgent project requests and/or changing priorities.
* Demonstrated ability to work with people of varied backgrounds and objectives.
* Demonstrated skill in identifying and analyzing issues and recommending corrective actions.
* Proficiency in using multiple discipline-specific applications (Cobra, Primavera, EcoSys, etc.)
