Position Overview: The HIV Prevention and Navigation Program Supervisor is responsible for overseeing navigation and prevention services within our organization. This role includes managing a team of Prevention Navigators who engage clients through motivational interviewing techniques to assist with goal setting and overcoming barriers to care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and supervise prevention navigation and harm reduction programs.
- Oversee client data collection, assessments, and risk reduction planning.
- Ensure ongoing client continuity of care and track access to services.
- Develop and maintain a community referral network.
- Design and implement effective prevention navigation services.
- Train and supervise program staff, ensuring compliance with state and grant requirements.
- Manage financial budgets, including preparation and reconciliation of expenditures.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for grant deliverables.
- Engage clients in prevention programming through targeted recruitment initiatives.
- Research and implement best practices for serving high-risk populations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in prevention, navigation, or program development.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in program development and community engagement.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Strong communication and networking skills with diverse populations.
- Experience in grant writing and budget management.
Compensation: Starting salary is $49,920 annually, commensurate with experience.
