POSITION OVERVIEW

The Chief Operations Officer will play a pivotal role on the executive team, overseeing project management, procurement, virtual design & construction (VDC), and field operations. This position is essential for driving operational excellence and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. The COO will formulate and execute strategic initiatives that align with the company's mission to provide high-quality, profitable projects while ensuring customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and lead a proficient team capable of executing projects with exceptional quality and profitability.
  • Ensure effective management of the team, holding members accountable for their roles.
  • Oversee the complete project management lifecycle, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality project delivery.
  • Maintain a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, ensuring all projects meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Formulate and implement operational strategies to meet established goals and metrics.
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Focus on enhancing efficiency, productivity, and innovation across all operational functions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated experience in a senior operations capacity.
  • At least 10 years of experience in electrical construction.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management, procurement, VDC, and field operations.
  • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Excellent strategic planning and execution skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and retain a technical team with a focus on accountability and performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, adept at managing complex projects and resolving issues efficiently.
