Position Overview:

The Compliance Education Specialist plays a crucial role in instructing clients on OSHA, HIPAA, and HazCom compliance through engaging presentations, on-site evaluations, and personalized consultations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on-site services, including PowerPoint presentations, OSHA site assessments, and HIPAA gap analyses, along with system overviews and actionable recommendations.
  • Manage an assigned territory, overseeing business expenses related to travel and accommodations.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing guidance and solutions to compliance-related questions.
  • Utilize technology effectively to conduct on-site visits and upload necessary documentation and reports in a timely manner.
  • Stay informed and maintain expertise in bloodborne pathogens, OSHA, HIPAA, and HazCom regulations, as well as CDC protocols for healthcare professionals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

Preferred qualifications include an Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent experience is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Completion of a 30-hour online OSHA training course is mandatory within the first weeks of employment; HIPAA certification will be required subsequently.

Additional Requirements:
