Job Title: Senior Marketing Events Coordinator

Job Summary:

Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Marketing Events Coordinator to join our Marketing and Business Development department. The successful candidate will work closely with our business development team, lawyers, and office contacts to implement initiatives focused on promoting the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize, and execute firm events, meetings, webinars, conferences, and related activities while working closely with firm lawyers and business development counterparts.

- Participate in venue and vendor research, contract negotiation, budgeting, food and beverage management, audio-visual, production design, program materials, registration, and attendance collation for all assigned events.

- Serve as editor for event communications, including tracking of all event requests, approvals, plans, and summaries; manage distribution of invitations, reminders, and follow-up emails.

- Develop relationships with key industry venues and vendors.

- Research and profile major industry/practice event and sponsorship opportunities that align with business development objectives for potential participation.

- Report on pre- and post-event metrics such as RSVPs, attendance lists, surveys, etc.

- Research and source promotional items, as needed.

- Update and maintain the marketing events calendar.

- Liaise and collaborate with marketing teams and other departments on other projects, as assigned.

- Travel to assigned events.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in marketing, hospitality, or communications.

- Three to five years of dedicated corporate event planning and execution experience, preferably in a professional services, corporate, or law firm environment.

- Strong knowledge of events strategy and vendor negotiation in F&B, production design, partnering with hotels, venues, and vendors.

- Strong budget management and accurate reconciliation skills.

- Professionalism, personal integrity, and high degree of confidentiality and discretion.

- Attention to detail, accuracy, responsiveness, and excellent organizational skills required.

- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.

- Good judgment and accountability for delivering excellent work products.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; both written and oral.

- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

- Ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment, including the ability to prioritize.

- Reliable, flexible, and a can-do attitude is essential.

- Proficiency in document management systems and CRM databases, ideally in iManage Work, InterAction, and Vuture is a plus.

- Understanding of Zoom, MS Teams, and ON24 webinar platform is a plus, but not required.
