Program Analyst Specialist

As a Program Analyst Specialist, you will engage in a range of administrative and analytical responsibilities to support our contract programs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop comprehensive plans, including budgets and timelines, while monitoring tasks to fulfill contractual and project requirements for the assigned program.
2. Collaborate in defining and establishing program plan requirements.
3. Track and report performance metrics against established plans to ensure adherence to contractual, cost, and scheduling objectives.
4. Maintain regular communication with clients and industry representatives to guarantee compliance with customer specifications.
5. Facilitate daily correspondence with personnel to ensure prompt handling of all requests.
6. Conduct project monitoring, reporting, and ongoing program/project analysis.
7. Research and analyze functions for effective tracking and financial forecasting.
8. Plan procurement activities, including issuing RFPs/RFQs, preparing price analyses, and identifying factors that influence pricing to determine the most cost-effective solutions.
9. Distribute purchase requests and all necessary information to buyers.
10. Assist management in overseeing the activities and productivity of team members.
Financial Oversight:
In collaboration with the Finance team, ensure that vendor costs are accurately recorded and allocated within the company’s financial accounting system and forecasts. Verify and approve subcontractor invoices.
Additional Duties:
May engage in business development initiatives and participate in special projects as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; military experience and familiarity with shipyard availability are advantageous.
Work Requirements:
- 3+ years of related experience preferred.
- Certification may vary based on technical training, certifications, or degree.
Travel Requirements:
- Less than 10% travel may be required.
Citizenship:
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
Salary and Benefits:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $60,549 - $74,750, subject to adjustments based on experience, geographic location, and contractual obligations. For more information on benefits and our total rewards program, please refer to our company resources.
