Side by Side is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide Education Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) counseling to students in grades K-12, working closely with teachers, specialists, and other service providers to support student success.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with students, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address social-emotional goals and ERMHS objectives.
- Provide weekly counseling sessions to students, using a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally competent approach.
- Attend IEP meetings and other relevant educational conferences to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in electronic health records and educational databases.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Masters in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited university or college.
- Registered Intern with or licensed clinician with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- At least one year post-graduate experience working with latency age children, adolescents, and/or transition age youth.
- California Department of Justice and FBI fingerprint clearance.
- A valid California driver's license, dependable personal vehicle for use on the job, insurable by SHS' insurance policy based on DMV record, and proof of personal vehicle insurance.
- A competitive salary range of $69,700 to $96,500 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
