Job Summary:

As a Polysomnographic Technician at Highmark Health, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. You will perform all functions related to polysomnographic exams and multiple sleep latency testing, ensuring accurate and efficient results. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining proper calibration, quality control, and analysis of all polysomnographic equipment. Additionally, you will organize and prioritize workload and scheduling of patient testing, ensuring seamless operations. Key Responsibilities:

Perform all polysomnograms and MSLTs according to clinical practice guidelines and departmental policy and procedures.
Maintain proper calibration, quality control, and analysis of all polysomnographic equipment.
Organize and prioritize workload and scheduling of patient testing in an efficient and effective manner.
Assist with billing documentation and maintain department records according to departmental policy/procedure.

Requirements:

Current BCLS certification required upon hire.
Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent experience.
Graduate of polysomnography course or completion of an approved sleep lab training program.
Basic EEG course.
RPSGT, CRT, RRT, or LPN certification preferred.
