Job Summary:

As a Polysomnographic Technician at Highmark Health, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. You will perform all functions related to polysomnographic exams and multiple sleep latency testing, working under licensed medical direction. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality patient care and advance our mission to improve health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform polysomnograms and MSLTs according to clinical practice guidelines and departmental policy and procedures.
• Maintain proper calibration, quality control, and analysis of all polysomnographic equipment.
• Organize and prioritize workload and scheduling of patient testing in an efficient and effective manner.
• Assist with billing documentation and maintain department records according to departmental policy/procedure.

Requirements:

• Current BCLS certification required upon hire.
• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent experience.
• Basic EEG course and RPSGT, CRT, RRT, or LPN certification preferred.
