The role encompasses a variety of warehousing functions, including receiving, storing, issuing, reconstituting, inventory management, and dispatching both bulk and individual items.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Inventory Specialist: $20.00 per hour

Compensation is based on experience.

Key Responsibilities of the Inventory Specialist:

  • Execute a comprehensive range of warehousing tasks, including but not limited to receiving, storing, issuing, reconstituting, inventorying, and shipping bulk and individual items.
  • Ensure accurate packing and shipping of materials.
  • Process and fulfill customer orders efficiently.
  • Select merchandise from warehouse shelves, pack items, verify packed items against orders for accuracy, and maintain records of inventory and shipments.
  • Assist public affairs consultants in leading various environmentally-focused communication initiatives.
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • At least 1 year of experience in warehouse operations, including packing, shipping, receiving, fulfilling customer orders, and managing inventory.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with effective time-management abilities and the capacity to manage workload with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to obtain forklift safety certification.
  • Must successfully pass a drug screening and background check.
  • Must meet pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
