Job Summary

Ladgov Corporation seeks a highly skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay, HI. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for planning and preparing nutritious meals for our personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our personnel, ensuring variety and nutritional balance.
  • Collaborate with the Military Mess Hall Manager to plan meals and maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Manage food storage and inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and rotation.
  • Modify menus based on feedback, dietary requirements, and special meal requests.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in food service, preferably in a government or commercial dining facility.
  • Ability to create diverse, high-quality, and nutritious meals.
  • Knowledge of NAVMED P5010-1 food safety standards.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Physically capable of performing kitchen duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have necessary certifications and permits for food service.
Working Conditions

Monday to Friday, with meal times as follows:

  • Breakfast: 06:00 – 08:30
  • Lunch: 11:30 – 14:00
  • Dinner: 16:30 – 19:00
