The Warehouse Lead is a critical role within Nucor Corporation, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouses. This individual will lead safety meetings, manage inventory programs, cycle counting, and develop/maintain relationships with key vendors/contractors. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing and procuring inventory for Steelmart, as well as other operational functions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
  • Manage established inventory programs and cycle counting
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors/contractors
  • Manage and procure inventory for Steelmart
  • Lead the growth and development of the Warehouse team
  • Actively pursue personal growth and development opportunities

**Requirements:**

  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Organization and ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects successfully
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Understanding of Inventory Management Programs and Practices

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Warehouse or Maintenance Experience
  • IFS Experience
  • Previous Leadership experience
  • Overhead crane and forklift experience
