About the Role

iRhythm Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Technician to join our Clinical Operations team in Deerfield, IL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing patient ECG data and related algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and completeness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review patient ECG data and related algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and completeness
  • Effectively communicate ECG abnormalities as required according to physician notification protocol
  • Perform quality assurance on reports provided to medical professionals
  • Maintain compliance with job-specific proficiency requirements, including CCT certification
  • Continuously develop clinical knowledge, particularly ECG rhythm interpretation skills
  • Meet or exceed productivity and quality metrics as defined for the role
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; Associate's degree or two years of college coursework preferred
  • 2+ years of experience as a cardiac telemetry monitor technician, Holter scanner, or other position requiring ECG interpretation strongly preferred
  • RN, EMT, Exercise Physiologist, CCT, CRAT, EKG certification, CNA, or equivalent training preferred
  • Advanced computer agility skills and knowledge of Microsoft tools
  • Successful completion of new hire training requirements
  • Knowledge of medical terminology specific to Cardiology
  • Demonstrated capability in rhythm analysis and interpretation
