Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a physician
- Perform specific services to care for the personal needs and comforts of patients
- Support the mission and values of WakeMed
- Register/certify with a recognized medical assisting organization (e.g. American Academy of Medical Assistants, American Medical Technologists)
- 2 years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant (preferred)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
- Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant (required within 24 months of hire)
This role requires variable shifts, including 12-hour shifts from 8am-8pm, with weekend and call requirements as needed.
