Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the maintenance team, ensuring effective planning, organization, and execution of maintenance activities.
  • Maintenance Operations: Oversee the maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment, and systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets for maintenance activities, ensuring cost-effective solutions and optimal resource allocation.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure high standards of maintenance and upkeep.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance and development.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including residents, families, and staff, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including OSHA and HIPAA.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., facilities management, engineering) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in maintenance or facilities management.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures.
