Job Summary:

Conviva Care Centers is seeking a skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for operating specialized X-ray equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Maintain and store equipment and supplies
  • Order and manage inventory of related supplies
  • Assume responsibility for the cleanliness of examination rooms and equipment
  • Consult with physicians and radiologists as needed
  • Initiate transmission for STAT or urgent exams
  • Ensure proper levels of stock inventory of related supplies
  • Stay up-to-date with new procedures, techniques, and applications
  • Advises administration personnel of any problems with equipment

Requirements:

  • Completion of Ultrasound Technology Training at an accredited school
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of previous experience in a diagnostic facility or hospital
  • Good knowledge of ultrasound equipment and techniques
