Role Responsibilities:

As a Medical Liaison, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and facilitate healthcare services for individuals with disabilities residing in various settings.

  • Coordinate the scheduling, transportation, and documentation of medical appointments.
  • Ensure that all appointment records are completed in the appropriate systems and notify the Residence Supervisor of any discrepancies.
  • Manage the medication ordering process and ensure timely refills from the pharmacy.
  • Administer prescribed medical treatments or medications in accordance with physician directives.

Qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or GED, along with two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Consideration will be given to a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • A valid New York State Driver License that meets the Agency's driving standards is required.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, typically Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate program needs.
