  • Apply in-depth knowledge of construction methodologies specific to water and sewer projects, ensuring estimates are based on sound construction practices and innovative solutions
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, project managers, and engineers to ensure understanding and alignment on project costs
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and cost fluctuations, integrating market intelligence into cost estimates and project planning
  • Maintain detailed records of all estimates, revisions, and final costings, preparing and presenting reports on cost estimates, variances, and project financial status

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cost estimating within the construction industry, with a focus on water and sewer projects
  • Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software (e.g., RSMeans, Sage Estimating, HCSS HeavyBid)
  • Extensive understanding of construction methodologies, particularly in the water and sewer sector
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
