Job Summary

E-Frontiers is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Manager to join our team. As a key member of our cost management and estimating team, you will be responsible for delivering solutions for data center projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cost control, change orders, delay analysis, and contingency draws.
  • Track budgets, financial forecasting, modeling, and understand P&L statements.
  • Handle and track invoice/payment applications and update cost tracking software.
  • Produce weekly progress reports, monthly management reports, earned value reports, and reconcile contractor costs.
  • Manage contract terms (retention, insurance, allowances), compile cost estimates, and maintain a benchmarking database.
  • Track key project documents (change orders, invoices, payments) and ensure document control on-site.
  • Initiate closeout early, track closeout documents like warranties and O&M manuals.
  • Track and analyze project schedules, ensuring QA/QC standards.
  • Develop templates for RFPs and SOWs, follow up on proposals, and manage supplier contracts and deliveries.
  • Review financial reports, ensure budget compliance, and reconcile project charges.
  • Assist with equipment delivery plans, close out work orders, and contribute to team objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: 4-year college degree in Construction Management, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Cost Estimating or equivalent recognized technical qualification related to mechanical discipline.
  • Minimum Experience: 5-10 years' relevant experience in construction cost estimating of a variety of building types from program, conceptual, schematic, design development and construction document stages of design in elemental and CSI format.
  • Knowledge and understanding of execution of cost management services; good planning, organization, and communication skills essential. Understanding of technical and non-technical documents related to cost management services required. Knowledge and use of industry-estimating software and Microsoft Office software programs.
