Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to work with students in a school setting, providing speech therapy services and making a positive impact on their lives.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing speech therapy services to students with cognitive communication disorders, speech and/or language impairments or delays. This will include assessing students' needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing interventions to help students achieve their goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Active license as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Masters degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited program
  • Preferably, some experience in pediatrics or schools

Responsibilities:

  1. Proficiency in identifying, planning, implementing, and evaluating SLP therapy treatment for school-aged children
  2. Ability to treat speech, language, and cognitive-communication disorders in school-aged children
  3. Facilitating goals and objectives per child's educational plan
  4. Counseling parents, students, and teachers regarding speech and/or language disorders
  5. Working in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students
  6. Maintaining accurate records
  7. Ensuring all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
  8. Performing other SLP duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
