We are seeking a highly skilled Water Services Operator to join our team in Flagstaff, AZ. As a key member of our Water Services department, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our water and wastewater systems, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of water and wastewater services to our community.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and other related facilities.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and infrastructure, including hydraulic and pneumatic tools, and other specialized equipment.
- Conduct water quality testing and sampling, and analyze results to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipes, valves, and other related equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in water or wastewater operations, maintenance, or related field.
- Valid Arizona Class D driver's license required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent changes in priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
