Job Title: Vice President for Traditional Enrollment

Faulkner University is seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as Vice President for Traditional Enrollment. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with other university departments to drive growth and excellence within the enrollment management division.

This individual will provide catalyst leadership to inspire and engage others in our mission and success strategies for enrollment while managing a comprehensive plan that emphasizes improved recruiting strategies, increased enrollment, and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with university leaders to integrate educational, fiscal, and advancement goals
  • Provide leadership in traditional and graduate admissions to develop community and school partnerships, recruiting territories, and prospective student relations
  • Supervise and motivate admissions staff, providing ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Develop innovative recruiting strategies and maintain knowledge of market trends and pathways to improve recruitment and admission directives
  • Ensure excellent service delivery to students from first contact through completion of education
  • Oversee scholarship awarding and develop strategic plans for efficient and effective use of scholarship funds
  • Plan, organize, and participate in recruitment and retention events
  • Forecast academic program needs based on market research and student feedback
  • Develop and implement short and long-term student recruitment and retention objectives and plans
  • Collaborate with financial aid to develop and maintain admission processes that best serve students and the university
  • Possess a strong commitment to student success and work to sustain and advance the University's institutional values
  • Serve as a member of the President's Cabinet and other university committees
  • Provide fiscal budget controls and forecast funding needs for the division

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field or other advanced degree required
  • Minimum of eight years combined, progressive experience in strategic planning, sales, and recruitment required
  • Demonstrated experience in higher education student recruitment and admissions preferred
  • Knowledge of PowerFAIDS software and laws and regulations as they apply to financial aid preferred
  • An active member of the church of Christ
