Giant Retail Service Representative

The After Sales Technical Representative is a critical member of the Giant team, dedicated to delivering top-notch customer service to our valued partners. This role involves handling technical inquiries, resolving warranty issues, and ensuring seamless after-sales experiences.
Key Accountabilities- Delivers timely responses to retailer, consumer, and sales team inquiries about warranty and technical matters.
- Leverages inventory management expertise to resolve warranty and after-sales service challenges efficiently.
- Contributes to the smooth operation of the Giant Service Center.
- Effectively manages email and voicemail correspondence.
- Identifies and reports quality issues to the factory, following up as necessary to ensure resolution.
- Processes warranty claims submitted through the G-Store online platform.
- Coordinates credit submissions and approvals when required.
- Packages and dispatches warranty-related items as needed.
- Procures and stores parts, collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficient logistics.
- Serves as a technical resource for Giant, Liv, and Momentum branded bike information produced within the last 4 years.
- Manages warranty returns, including inspections and response coordination.
- Collaborates in reworks and recalls as necessary.
- Demonstrates exceptional technical knowledge of bicycles.
- Develops strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Excels in high-level computer skills and familiarization with popular software applications.
- Demonstrates outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
- Maintains a professional demeanor and positive attitude in challenging situations.
- Effectively communicates both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrates problem-solving ability and independence.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in the bicycle industry is highly desirable.
- A passion for outdoor activities is an asset.
- This is a full-time, non-exempt role that requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
