Position Summary

The Facilities Technician II plays a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities through maintenance and repair tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all tasks in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the facility, including but not limited to flooring, wall repairs, painting, plumbing, lighting, ceilings, tiles, doors, and windows.
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including dental 3D printers, dental mills, vacuums, sandblasters, furnaces, ovens, mixers, presses, and shakers.
  • Provide preventative maintenance on both plant and line equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair plant and line machinery as needed.
  • Organize and oversee small projects and minor renovations that do not require a general contractor.
  • Repair and install small to medium-sized equipment and systems.
  • Assist with HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Conduct electrical installations and wiring tasks.
  • Perform plumbing installations and piping work.
  • Support fellow Facilities Technicians as required.
  • Act as an on-site liaison for contractors and vendors.
  • Respond to alarm calls as part of a 24/7 on-call rotation.
  • Maintain knowledge of federal and state regulations related to building maintenance codes and safety standards.
  • Exhibit professional behavior in interactions with internal and external business associates, reflecting positively on the company and aligning with corporate policies.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two to four years of maintenance experience, preferably in a medical or health-related environment.
