Role Summary:
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated ICT Special Education Instructors. The ideal candidates will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, inclusive education, nurturing an engaging learning environment, and significantly contributing to the academic advancement of students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute stimulating and challenging lessons aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and the curriculum.
- Create a welcoming and supportive educational setting for students with varied needs.
- Work collaboratively with general education instructors to modify and adapt teaching materials for students requiring special assistance.
- Utilize diverse assessment techniques to monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed.
- Engage proactively with colleagues to enhance instructional practices within the special education division.
- Deliver timely and constructive feedback to students, aiding their academic and social-emotional growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related discipline.
- State certification in Special Education.
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching methodologies and the ability to tailor instruction for diverse learners.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students.
Experience:
- Prior teaching experience, particularly in special education, is beneficial but not essential.
- Familiarity with various teaching strategies and the use of technology in special education settings.
