Job Description

Atlanta Technical College is seeking a highly qualified Program Coordinator to join its Division of Health and Public Safety Technology. This is a full-time position located on the Main Campus, just south of Downtown Atlanta.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement academic programs in nursing education, ensuring alignment with state standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Recruit, advise, and support students in their academic and professional development, maintaining accurate records and providing regular feedback.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to design and deliver high-quality instruction, using various teaching techniques and assessment methods.
  • Participate in program evaluation and accreditation processes, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff, demonstrating strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in nursing education, applying this knowledge to enhance program delivery and student outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
  • Three years of clinical nursing experience and two years of documented registered nursing education instruction.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in a related field or Ed.D.
  • More than five years of healthcare experience or healthcare education.
  • Five or more years of clinical nursing experience and three years of documented registered nursing education instruction.
