POSITION SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this role is to engage with customers and accurately record their information into our system while performing the following essential duties:

  • Manage and route incoming phone calls efficiently.
  • Gather comprehensive and precise information for patient demographics.
  • Assist customers who visit our facility.
  • Organize and distribute faxes as needed.
  • Complete designated projects in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with customers via phone or in person to process orders for delivery, pick-up, service changes, or maintenance.
  • Prepare order forms, assess charges and coverage for requested services, inform customers about co-pays, and input data into our information system.
  • Download data cards for CPAP/BIPAP patients and send reports to healthcare providers.
  • Document service complaints and equipment issues.
  • Address concerns from dissatisfied customers and facilitate resolution to ensure service recovery.
  • Propose corrective actions to resolve customer complaints.
  • Complete required online training courses annually and monthly.
  • Engage in both traditional and e-learning programs.
  • Follow proper closing procedures for the facility.
  • Perform additional duties or special projects as necessary.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service.
  • Support the mission, vision, and values of HME Specialists.
  • Adhere to the company's culture and behavioral standards.

Compensation: $16.00 per hour

Experience Requirements:
