Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide advanced nursing care to patients with complex acute, critical, and/or chronic health conditions in a clinic or hospital setting.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between care settings.
  • Develop and implement educational programs to promote health and wellness among patients and their families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research and evidence-based practices to provide the highest level of care.
Requirements
  • Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
  • Current specialty certification as required by department
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Masters in Nursing as NP or Masters in Nursing with completion of a post-masters Nurse Practitioner Certification Program
